Now open: 2024 IPPC consultation period for draft diagnostic protocols only

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to inform the plant health community that the additional consultation period on the draft diagnostic protocols (DPs) starts today, 30 January to 3 May 2024.
This consultation period does not substitute the annual consultation period prescribed by the Standard Setting Procedure, that goes from July to September.
Below are the draft DPs for consultation:
- draft annex to ISPM 27: Genus Pospiviroid (2018-031); and
- draft annex to ISPM 27: Heterobasidion annosum sensu lato (2021-015).
National and regional plant protection organizations (NPPOs, RPPOs) are invited to use the IPPC Online Comment System (OCS) to submit comments. Private sector representatives who wish to provide comments can do so through their respective NPPOs or RPPOs.
