Guidelines for regulating potato micropropagation material and minitubers in international trade

Internationally, there are large numbers of pests associated with potato propagative material. Since potato minitubers and micropropagation material are intended for use in vegetative propagation, the risk of spreading pests is increased.

The Expert Working Group should develop a draft ISPM to provide guidance on phytosanitary measures to reduce the risks of regulated pests being associated with potato micropropagation material and minitubers in international trade.
