Informal working group on Strategic Planning and Technical Assistance (SPTA)

The Informal working group on Strategic Plannning and Technical Assistance (SPTA) was first established by ICPM-2 (1999) and subsequently re-established by CPM-1 (2006). The SPTA has been requested to develop recommendations for the consideration of the CPM related to planning and prioritizing elements of the work programme, including: the strategic and business plans; technical assistance; information exchange; standards; funding issues; and liaison with international, regional or other organizations (e.g. research).
