Standards and Trade Development Facility Annual report released

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is pleased to share the 2022 Annual Report of the Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF), titled "Adapting and Learning to Promote Safe Trade". The report was released this month and illustrates the collaborative efforts of organizations and development partners in building sustainable and inclusive sanitary and phytosanitary capacity in developing and least developed countries, based on international standards. The IPPC Secretariat has collaborated with the STDF for many years and on various initiatives such as the STDF's Phytosanitary Capacity Evaluation (PCE) Facilitators' project, which the IPPC led. In 2021, members of the STDF Working Group selected Sarah Brunel- Lead of the Implementation and Facilitation Unit at the secretariat to chair the Working Group in 2024.
