Assist to the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between FAO and COLEACP, working together to enhance plant health

Two new e-learning tools will be highlighted:

• Pest Risk Analysis: The course covers “the process of evaluating biological and scientific evidence to determine whether an organism is a pest, whether it should be regulated, and the strength of any phytosanitary measures to be taken against it”, detailing all stages of pest risk analysis (Initiation, Pest risk assessment, and Pest risk management).
• Export certification: The course covers in a series of 19 sequences and in a detailed step by step fashion all aspects of the complex process of Export certification, a key process to promote safe trade of plants and plant products.
