Now open: Diagnostic Protocols notification period

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce the start of the Diagnostic Protocols (DP) Notification Period from 1 July 2024 to 15 August 2024.
Contracting parties can now review the following DPs, approved by the IPPC Standards Committee (SC), and submit an objection, if any.
- Revision of DP 09 Genus Anastrepha (2021-002)
- Revision of DP 25 Xylella fastidiosa (2021-003)
- Revision of DP 27 Ips spp. (2021-004)
Objections for approved draft DPs must be submitted by the IPPC Official Contact Point to the IPPC Secretariat via e-mail [email protected] or through the online form (English only) here.
Receiving no objections, the SC will adopt the DPs on behalf of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM). The IPPC Secretariat will then make them available to contracting parties and the CPM will note and attach them to its meeting report.
