Now available: updated brochure on “Introduction for Authors of IPPC Diagnostic Protocols”

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is pleased to inform the plant health community that a brochure on “Introduction for Authors of IPPC Diagnostic Protocols” has been updated and published and can be accessed here.

The brochure explains the IPPC Diagnostic Protocols (DPs) for regulated pests, the process of developing and adopting DPs, and the entities involved. DP authors are competent diagnosticians who draft the DPs and are nominated by IPPC contracting parties and regional plant protection organizations (RPPOs) and selected by experts of the Technical Panel on Diagnostic Protocols (TPDP).
