Now available in French: Prevention, preparedness and response guidelines for Fusarium Tropical Race 4 of banana

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is pleased to announce the publication of the French version of the Prevention, preparedness and response guidelines for Fusarium Tropical Race 4 (TR4) of banana. Fusarium Tropical Race 4 (TR4) of bananas is the biggest threat to banana production worldwide. The guidelines propose actions that national plant protection organizations (NPPOs) and relevant stakeholders can undertake to prevent the introduction and spread of TR4 of bananas into new territories.

The secretariat thanks the European Union and the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) Secretariat for financially supporting this translation and the IPPC Implementation and Capacity Development Committee for supporting the development of the guidelines.
