Multi-Donor Trust Funds for the Africa Phytosanitary Programme (APP) and the IPPC ePhyto Solution now open

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to inform the plant health community that two new Multi-Donor Trust Funds (MDTF) have been created for the Africa Phytosanitary Programme (APP) and the IPPC ePhyto Solution.
The secretariat invites contracting parties, donors and partner organizations to make financial contributions through the MDTFs, to support the IPPC's work in advancing plant health by helping countries to digitize phytosanitary certification of plant products in international trade and enhance pest monitoring and detection using digital tools.
As agreed at the 18th session of the Commision on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM-18), the IPPC Secretariat sent on 26 Nov. 2024 an official communication to contracting parties, indicating the necessary contributions to the ePhyto MDTF.
