The passing of Mr. Agustín Mañe Ela ANDEME, the IPPC contact point and Director of Equatorial Guinea NPPO

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Agustín Mañe Ela ANDEME, the IPPC contact point and Director of the National Plant Protection Organization (NPPO) of Equatorial Guinea.

Mr. Mañe Ela ANDEME played a fundamental role in advancing plant health in Equatorial Guinea and represented his country with distinction on international platforms. His dedication and commitment to protecting plant resources from pests made him a valued member of the IPPC community.

In his capacity as the IPPC contact point, Mr. Mañe Ela ANDEME participated actively in regional and international meetings, contributing significantly to global phytosanitary efforts. His work has left a lasting impact on both his country and the broader plant health community.
