ISPMs for adoption at CPM-17 (2023) posted and Call for Objections opened

The draft International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs) that will be presented to CPM-17 (2023) for adoption have been posted. Please refer to CPM 2023/11 and attachments available at CPM 17 - International Plant Protection Convention.

Submission of Objections

Please be reminded that the deadline for submitting objections to the draft standards that will be presented for adoption at CPM-17 (2023) is 06 March 2023 (three weeks before the start of the session).

Objections must be accompanied by technical justification and suggestions for improvement of the draft ISPM, which are likely to be acceptable to other contracting parties (refer to sections 2 and 3.5 of the IPPC Procedure Manual on Standard Setting).

Contracting parties who wish to submit an objection should refer to the Current objections to the adoption of ISPMs - International Plant Protection Convention page for the procedures to be followed.
