IPPC Technical Panel for the Glossary concludes annual meeting

Santiago, Chile. 16 December 2022. The IPPC Technical Panel for the Glossary (TPG) concluded its annual meeting on 2 December held in person in Santiago, Chile. The Panel has successfully reviewed all the terms and the definition that are currently in its work programme, covering the whole agenda foreseen for the meeting.

The TPG then prepared recommendations for the next Standards Committee meeting including the terms and definitions contained in the Draft 2022 Amendments to the International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPM) 5 will be submitted to the next Standard Committee Working Group (SC-7) in May 2023, while the new ones elaborated during the meeting will compose the Draft 2023 Amendments to ISPM 5 and will be submitted to the Standards Committee in May 2023.
