IPPC communications strategy, 2023-2030 is now available

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is pleased to announce that the IPPC communication strategy 2023-2030 has been published and is now available in English. The strategy provides a road map for the IPPC community to effectively inform, engage, and advocate among stakeholders to protect plant health and promote the adoption of international phytosanitary standards.

Adopted at the seventeenth session of the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures in March 2023, the communications strategy is aligned with the IPPC Strategic Framework 2020-2030. With eight communication milestones, the strategy supports the achievement of the IPPC's mission to protect global plant health and contribute to safeguarding global food security, promoting a healthy environment, and facilitating safe trade of plants and plant products.
