Deadline extension: Call for information material to future Commodity Standards

The IPPC Secretariat has extended the deadline of the call for information material for Commodity Standards to 30 September 2024.

The four commodity standards are:

• International movement of seeds of Phaseolus vulgaris
• International movement of fresh taro (Colocasia esculenta) for consumption
• International movement of fresh banana (Musa paradisiaca) fruit International movement of Citrus fruit

Based on this call, the IPPC Technical Panel on Commodity Standards, as authorized by the Standards Committee, will decide which commodities to start drafting at their upcoming face-to-face meeting.
