Compiled Comments on Draft ISPMs from the 2010 Member Consultation Period Posted on the IPP

The IPPC Secretariat has posted the compiled comments on draft ISPMs from the 2010 Member Consultation period. All comments were submitted through the IPPC Official Contact Point between 20 June and 30 September 2010.

The IPPC Secretariat would again like to thank the NPPOs of Malaysia, the Philippines, the United Kingdom, and Zambia and the RPPO of COSAVE for volunteering to compile the member comments for this year.

The draft standards approved for Member Consultation 2010 were:

Systems approaches for pest risk management of fruit flies (comments compiled by the Philippines) Submission of new treatments for inclusion in ISPM 15 (comments compiled by COSAVE) Integrated measures approach for managing pest risks associated with international trade of plants for planting (comments compiled by the United Kingdom) Irradiation treatment for Ceratitis capitata (Annex to ISPM 28) (comments compiled by Zambia) Diagnostic protocol for Plum pox virus (comments compiled by Malaysia) The IPPC Secretariat requests members to review the compiled comments and advise the Secretariat if their comments have not been recorded correctly.
