The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is soliciting nominations for appropriately qualified candidates to be members of the IPPC Capacity Development Committee (CDC). At its 7th Session (CPM-7, 2012) the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures agreed to create the IPPC CDC to provide oversight and contribute to the delivery of the IPPC Strategic Objective of developing National Phytosanitary Capacity of its members. Members serve for terms of two years, with a maximum of six years. All IPPC Contact Points and RPPOs contact points are invited to nominate suitable candidates to serve as members of the CDC by 30th September 2014. Members and potential alternates will be selected by the CPM Bureau based on the technical expertises according the criteria attached. For further information, please find the attached files.
