Substantial Concerns Commenting Period (SCCP) opens

The following draft ISPMs were submitted for the substantial concerns commenting period (SCCP, https://www.ippc.int/index.php?id=1111115) by the SC-7 in April 2012:

Draft Annex to ISPM 11: Pest risk analysis for plants as quarantine pests (2005-001) Draft revision of Annex 1 to ISPM 15: Approved treatments associated with wood packaging material (2006-011) The Secretariat has posted the draft ISPMs in the IPPC Online Comment System (OCS, http://ocs.ippc.int/index.html) and opened the drafts for the substantial concerns commenting period. The draft ISPMs can be downloaded from the OCS and all background documents are posted on the IPP (https://www.ippc.int/index.php?id=1111115).

The 2102 substantial concerns commenting period lasts 135 days and begins on 15 May 2012 and ends 30 September 2012.
