Short Description

Department of Plant Protection The Plant Protection Department of the National Directorate of Agriculture, Horticulture and Extension (PPD-NDAHE) has the role to run the activities of controlling pests and diseases by applying the Integrated Methods of Pest Management (IPM) and Pesticide Management (PM) in the country. Including conducts surveillance of plant pests, provides information on pest status, and monitors the extent of damage caused by pests.
