Short Description

The Department of Plant Protection (DPP) regulates the country’s international trade of agro-commodities through its Plant Quarantines Offices/ Outposts established on all seaports, international air terminals, dry ports and international borders.

The detail of Plant Quarantine Offices/ Outposts are as under:

SEAPORTS: KPT Karachi; Port Qasim. Gwadar Seaport;

AIRPORTS: Karachi - Jinnah International Airport; Lahore - Allama Iqbal International Airport; Islamabad - Benazir Bhutto International Airport; Peshawar - Bacha Khan International Airport; Multan - International Airport; Quetta - International Airport.

INTERNATIONAL BORDERS: Wagha - Attari (Pakistan/ India); Khokrapar - Munabhao (Pakistan/ India); Taftan - Mirjaveh (Pakistan/ Iran); Sost (Pakistan/ China); Chaman - Waish (Pakistan/ Afghanistan). Gabd/ Point - 250 (Pakistan - Iran Border); Torkham - Jalalabad (Pakistan - Afghanistan); Chakoti (Jammu & Kashmir); Angoor Adda (Pakistan - Afghanistan). Ghulam Khan (Pakistan - Afghanistan). Kharlachi (Pakistan - Afghanistan).
