Como fue informado anteriormente, Ecuador, ha tomado varias medidas para mantener bajo control nuevos contagios por COVID-19 y proteger a la salud humana. Actualmente, existen restricciones al transporte aéreo y por lo tanto la suspensión de los servicios de correo postal, ocasiona que los exportadores no puedan remitir físicamente los Certificados Fitosanitarios de Exportación a sus importadores.

En este contexto y como una solución de trabajo temporal para evitar interrupciones en el comercio, Agrocalidad, desarrolló una plataforma a través de la cual al ingresar el número de certificado se podrá visualizar el documento emitido por nuestra institución que garantiza su autenticidad y cumplimiento de normativas internas hasta que la gravedad de las circunstancias disminuya y puede entregarse el documento físico, una vez que las condiciones mejoren.

As previously reported, Ecuador has taken several measures to keep new COVID-19 infections under control and protect human health. Currently, there are restrictions on air transport and, therefore, the suspension of postal services, which means that exporters cannot physically send the Phytosanitary Export Certificates to their importers.

In this context, and as a temporary measure to avoid trade interruptions, Agrocalidad, developed a platform through which, by entering the certificate number, the document issued by our institution that guarantees its authenticity and compliance with internal regulations can be viewed, until the gravity of the circumstances diminishes and the physical document can be delivered, once the conditions improve.
