Damage to horticultural crops such as: cauliflower, cabbage,
Broccoli, arugula, radish, kale and pakchoi, as well as associated with weeds: Brassica campestris and horseradish (Brassicaceae). However, it is considered a highly polyphagous pest and may affect other hosts.

Geographical Distribution
To date the pest show their dispersion in crops of the following communes: Colina, Curacaví, Lampa, Maipú, Pudahuel and Til Til in the Metropolitan Region and Putaendo in the Region of Valparaíso.
Danger
It is a pest relevant to Chile. In addition, studies are being conducted to determine the biological cycles of the pest in the country, essential information to determine the recommendations for its control.
That in the meantime it is imperative to adopt control measures that allow farmers to reduce pest populations at levels below the threshold of economic damage to the crops affected. That the chemical control strategy has shown itself to be the most effective at the producer level.
