Short Description

The Cambodia NPPO wishes to inform all IPPC Members that, following an institutional restructuring within the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, the former “General Directorate of Agriculture” has officially been renamed as the “General Directorate of Agronomy”. Consequently, the official name, logo and stamp of the GDA and the official stamp of the Department of Plant Protection, Sanitary and Phytosanitary — the designated Cambodia NPPO—have been updated accordingly. In line with these changes, the format of the phytosanitary certificates issued by the Cambodia NPPO has also been revised to reflect the updated institutional names, logos, and official stamps. Please be informed that phytosanitary certificates issued under the previous format shall remain valid until 11 September 2026, to ensure a smooth implementation of the new format. Phytosanitary certificates issued under the new format, incorporating updated official names, logos, and stamps, shall take effect from 03 August 2026 and shall be recognized as valid official documents issued by Cambodia NPPO in accordance with the IPPC.
