The European Commission has published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/2285 that updates Implementing regulation (EU) 2019/2072 with regards to the list of pests, prohibitions and requirements for plants and plant products for the import into, and movement within, the EU. These amendments concern the listing of pests, the prohibitions and requirements for the introduction into, and movement within the European Union of plants, plant products and other objects. They will apply from 11th April 2022, with the exemption of the requirements for all plants for planting in relation to the pests Meloidogyne enterolobii and listed plants for planting for Euwallacea fornicatus sensu lato that will apply from 11 January 2023 and the measures for plants for planting in relation to the pest Grapevine flavescence dorée phytoplasma that will apply from 1 May 2022.
