The Importance of International Cooperation
For the first time in the history of the Commission, CPM-20 features a dedicated Poster Exhibition on International Cooperation. Held in the prestigious FAO Atrium on the 12 March (09:00-18:00), this groundbreaking initiative serves as a dynamic forum for partners to showcase real-world examples of collaborative success alongside National Plant Protection Organizations (NPPOs) and Regional Plant Protection Organizations (RPPOs).
By moving beyond traditional plenary discussions, this exhibition provides a visual and interactive platform to exchange "stories from the field." These presentations highlight how joint projects, shared digital solutions, and regional capacity-building programs are actively transforming the global phytosanitary landscape. This session is more than a display; it is a catalyst for new partnerships and a testament to the IPPC community’s unwavering commitment to "Protecting the World’s Plant Resources from Pests."
During this poster session we will have the opportunity to learn more about:
Bringing Phytosanitary Capacity to the Field: The Bahamas’ Mobile Plant Health Diagnostic and Inspection Laboratory as an Innovation for Rapid Phytosanitary Diagnostics
IFQRG: International Forestry Quarantine Research Group
IGTC: International Grain Trade Coalition
ISTA: International Seed Testing Association
STDF: Standards and Trade Development
FAO NSP Plant Health for One Health
During the lunch break (12:00-15:00) there will be an expert waiting for you at the FAO Atrium to deep-dive into further dialogues.
See you there!
