The IPPC Implementation and Capacity Development Committee (IC) invites national plant protection organizations (NPPOs), regional plant protection organizations (RPPOs), and other relevant organizations to submit proposals for an upcoming webinar planed in May 2025 on Smart Plant Health. This session aims to showcase innovative plant health solutions to potential donors, fostering new opportunities for financial and technical support.
About the Session
This webinar will take place during the Implementation and Capacity Development (IC) Meeting in May 2025. It will provide a pitch-like platform where selected organizations will be invited to present their innovations, digital tools, and smart plant health projects to an audience of potential donors and partners interested in advancing plant health globally. The IPPC Secretariat will be inviting a number of relevant organizations, including the donors and partners, like the European Commission, the Standards and Trade Development Facility (STDF), Comité de Liaison Entrepreneuriat-Agriculture-Développement (COLEAD) and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) with whom the IPPC Secretariat has a history of support and collaboration, to join the session virtually, connecting plant health projects with potential donors.
This hybrid event will be organized as a webinar, open to all those from the plant health community to join and listen to the presentations – showcasing global “best practices” to inspire and innovate, creating synergies by connecting like-minded projects and boosting networking opportunities.
