These risk assessments and categorizations are science-based evaluations that follow the guidelines established by the IPPC for pest risk analysis. They summarize the available information on a plant species' pest potential and evaluate the probability of entry, establishment, and spread in Canada, and the potential economic and environmental consequences. Individual documents listed on this site are available by request.
