This program Guide replaces all editions of the United States Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Plant Protection and Quarantine Grasshopper Program Manual, which is now obsolete. This guide and its accessory documentation will provide the following:
- Basic instructions for some APHIS administrative processes
- Technical and operational program guidance and options
- Some level of consistency within the APHIS Grasshopper/ Mormon Cricket Suppression Program
- Continuity with lessons learned in the past
- An ongoing mechanism to communicate new developments and opportunities within the Grasshopper/ Mormon Cricket Suppression Program
