Description of activity:

The IPPC General Survey was conducted as a baseline review of contracting parties' implementation of the IPPC and its international standards for phytosanitary measures (ISPMs). The survey revealed contracting parties’ main priority is for implementation of import and export regulatory systems and their related ISPMs. Conversely, the implementation of pest status and pest management related ISPMs is limited in some regions, as well as pest risk analysis.

The survey report is available in English and the survey in Arabic, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
