POARS Expert Working Group on Rhizoctonia theobromae

The POARS Expert Working Group (EWG) on Rhizoctonia theobromae was established under the Pest Outbreak Alert and Response Systems (POARS) initiative of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) to provide technical input on issues related to this pest. The EWG brings together experts from different regions and institutions, selected through an open call for experts and a technical assessment process, to contribute knowledge and support activities within the scope of POARS. The group operates in accordance with its approved Terms of Reference and reports to the POARS Steering Group.
