This e-learning is based on the “Fruit Sampling Guidelines for Area-Wide Fruit Fly Programmes”, written and edited by W. R. Enkerlin and J. Reyes-Flores of the Joint FAO/IAEA Programme of Nuclear Techniques in Food and Agriculture and by G. Ortiz, an independent consultant, and published by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Rome, Italy, 2019.
The aim of the e-learning is to understand the principles behind fruit sampling as part of the area-wide fruit fly programme. By successfully completing this course, you will be able to apply the lessons learned in real life operational programmes.
