The IPPC Generic ePhyto National System GeNS) Goes Live

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is proud to announce the release of the IPPC Generic ePhyto National System (GeNs). From today, any country interested in joining the IPPC GeNs can begin its registration process. The release of the IPPC GeNS is a success story of the IPPC ePhyto Solution Project. While hard work is still ahead, the project has come a long way from an idea to a functioning system where countries are exchanging IPPC ePhytos live. The IPPC GeNS makes the system inclusive and global as it allows countries that do not have a national system, a way to produce, receive and exchange ePhytos through the IPPC ePhyto Hub. With the completion of the IPPC GeNS, all core components of the IPPC ePhyto Solution are now complete.
