The 2nd Advisory Committee Meeting on the IPPC ePhyto Project and the Experts Meeting of the IPPC ePhyto Business Model

The 2nd Advisory Committee meeting on the IPPC ePhyto Project and the experts meeting of the IPPC ePhyto Business Model were held on the 5th and 6th of December 2017, respectively, at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, Switzerland.

At the 2nd Advisory Committee meeting on the IPPC ePhyto Project, the members of the IPPC ePhyto Project Advisory Committee (PAC) discussed mainly the progress of the IPPC ePhyto project, the development of the IPPC ePhyto Business Model, and the future roles of the PAC once the STDF-funded part of the project is complete. The PAC will work on developing new TORs to define the future role and purpose of the group.

The experts meeting of the IPPC ePhyto Business Model was attended by the members of the PAC and the CPM Bureau as well as the business experts from AppsFlyer Silicon Valley, Trade Facilitation Pte Singapore and BMI Lab Ireland & UK. The discussion was focused on the potential business models for the IPPC ePhyto Solution. The business model report will be developed further based on the inputs and recommendations provided at this meeting.
