A single male Queensland fruit fly was detected in a surveillance trap in a residential suburb of Auckland city, NZ. The NZ Ministry for Primary Industries is undertaking a follow-up investigation including intensified trapping and fruit monitoring (ref. ISPM #26) to determine if additional flies are present.
