- Resumen
Localized presence of Puccinia arachidis in New Caledonia has been confirmed by analysis made by the laboratory of ANSES in Nancy (France).
The disease has been observed in a little field of peanut (Arachis hypogaea) in La Tamoa (commune of Païta) at the end of the production cycle, at senescent stage.
As this disease is a quarantine pest, the field has been destroyed. No other peanut field was cultivated at this time.
- Peligro
- Presence of Puccinia arachidis could have an economic impact regarding the potential development of this culture.
