Distribución geográfica
Limited distribution (around 15 square kilometers in the riverbeds of the Jhikhu Khola of Panchkhal Municipality of Kavrepalanchowk District.
Resumen

The invasive weed of sunflower family is a perennial weed which covers the land as a bedding. The fragments of stem have potential for propagation. The weed has wide adaptation and generally grows around the riverbeds, irrigation canals and waterbodies and barren land. It covers all the vegetation and replaces the indigenous plants.The pest was first reported by the scientists of the Central Department of Botany under Tribhuwan University in 2020.
