New video: APP from evidence to impact: Building stronger systems to protect plant health and trade in Africa

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to share a new video titled: APP from evidence to impact: Building stronger systems to protect plant health and trade in Africa. The video highlights the impact of the Africa Phytosanitary Programme (APP) so far, from expanding to 38 countries in the recently launched APP Phase 3, to enabling countries to generate quality data to support international trade and food security. With examples for various countries, the video also highlights how the APP is strengthening plant health systems in Africa by helping countries to modernize pest monitoring through harmonized protocols, geospatial technology and training.
