IPPC Financial Committee (FC)
The CPM-20 (2026) agreed to disestablish the IPPC Financial Committee and to transfer the responsibilities of the IPPC Financial Committee to the bureau to guarantee both financial transparency and oversight;
The Financial Committee was originally established by CPM in the framework of the IPPC Resource Mobilization Strategy. It provided advice on financial matters and resource mobilization issues to the CPM Bureau and the IPPC Secretariat.
However, as of December 2023, the Financial Committee consisted of the CPM Bureau members but with a different chairperson therefore leading to the decision at CPM-20 (2026) to disestablish the FC and transfer its responsibilities to the bureau, for the sake of efficiency.
The current rules of procedure for the bureau have a provision for financial planning and management.
