IPPC Observatory re-launches survey on Antimicrobial Use (AMU)

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is pleased to invite IPPC official contact points (OCPs) to complete the IPPC Observatory surveys on Antimicrobial Use (AMU) which was launched on 25 November 2024.

The survey comprises two components:

The deadline to complete these surveys is Friday 10 January 2025.

The objective of the survey is to collect information on the nature and scope of risks associated with the use of antimicrobials and fungicides in phytosanitary context, including potential resistance to these products.

This marks the third and final phase of the IPPC Observatory surveys on AMU, offering countries that have not yet participated in previous surveys an opportunity to provide their input. Countries that had already responded have to update/confirm their responses.

Please be assured that all your responses will be held in strict confidentiality. The survey report will be shared with the IPPC community next year.
