Posted on Пт, 23 Янв 2026, 07:25

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), on behalf of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat, has renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Committee Linking Entrepreneurship-Agriculture-Development (COLEAD), to strengthen collaboration on plant health, enhance global food security and sustainable agricultural productivity, and facilitate safe trade and economic development.

The MoU was first signed in November 2021 and extended last year for three years until August 2028. Under the new MoU, IPPC and COLEAD will collaborate on the promotion of the multilingual IPPC Plant Health Campus and on the development of e-learning courses, phytosanitary guides and training materials, as well as work together to facilitate the participation of delegates from the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) in the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) and other relevant meetings.
