This latest update is a transparent account covering significant progress across the programme, including the milestone of 100 countries now exchanging phytosanitary certificates live through the ePhyto Hub, a 20 percent rise in average monthly exchange volumes, and a real-world impact story from the Cook Islands.
The first ePhyto implementations in Liberia and Sierra Leone are being launched through the Africa ePhyto Initiative, a collaborative platform of major trade and phytosanitary partners.
The update also details three system releases delivered between October 2025 and March 2026, improving data harmonization, multilingual support and reliability.
