2020 IPPC Regional Workshop


Due to COVID-19 global crisis, the IPPC Secretariat and the Regional Workshop (RW) Organizing Committees (OC) have decided to hold all RW virtually.

AFRICA

Six sessions, 8 -10 September Daily 11:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 (Malawi time)

NRO, two sessions, 10 -11 September : Daily 11:00 to 13:00 and 14:00 to 16:00 (Malawi time)

ASIA

Four sessions, 7-10 September Daily 10:00-13:00 (Bangkok time)

CARIBBEAN

Three sessions, 1-3 September Daily 09:30-12:00 (Barbados time)

NRO, two sessions, 8-9 September : Daily 10:00 –12:00 (Barbados time)

EUROPE AND CENTRAL ASIA

Two sessions, 31 August and 1 September Daily 09:00-12:00 (Central European Summer Time,GMT +2)

LATIN AMERICA

Two sessions, 2-3 September Daily 08:00 - 12:30 (México Time)

NEAR EAST AND NORTH AFRICA

Four sessions, 7,8, 14 and 15 September 09:00 – 12:00 (Cairo time)

SOUTHWEST PACIFIC

Five sessions, 21, 25, 26, 27 & 28 August 01:00 - 04:00 (Rome time)

For this year 2020, the IPPC Regional Workshops will give special importance to raise awareness of regional plant health issues and highlight regional ongoing or future initiatives to leave a lasting impact of the International Year on Plant Health (IYPH) beyond 2020.
