Now posted: IPPC standards adopted in 2023 reviewed by Language Review Groups in Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish

The IPPC Secretariat has the pleasure to inform you that the following IPPC International standards for Phytosanitary Measures (ISPMs, including one PT) adopted by the CPM-17 in 2023, have been reviewed by Language Review Groups (LRGs) in Arabic, Chinese, Russian and Spanish:

1. ISPM 5: Glossary of phytosanitary terms (2021 amendments);
2. ISPM 18 (Full revision): Requirements for the use of irradiation as a phytosanitary measure;
3. ISPM 20: Guidelines for a phytosanitary import regulatory system, including the newly added Annex 2: Use of specific import authorizations; and
4. PT 45, as Annex to ISPM 28 (Phytosanitary treatments for regulated pests): Irradiation treatment for Pseudococcus jackbeardsleyi.
