The Guide to regulation of wood packaging material is now available in French!

The IPPC Secretariat is pleased to announce the release of the French translation of the IPPC Guide to regulation of wood packaging material - Understanding the phytosanitary requirements for the movement of wood packaging material in international trade, whose English version is the most consulted IPPC guide in 2024.

This guide provides comprehensive, yet easy to understand, information to improve the understanding and to support the implementation of the ISPM 15 (Regulation of wood packaging material in international trade). It provides practical guidance to help national plant protection organizations apply the phytosanitary measures that are currently approved in ISPM 15 and describes the procedures required to produce compliant wood packaging material.

The IPPC Secretariat extends its gratitude to the Comité de Liaison Entrepreneuriat-Agriculture-Développement (COLEAD) for providing in-kind support for the translation of this guide.
