New deadline: Consultation on Report on the assessment and management of climate change impacts on plant pests

The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat has set 9 October 2023 as the new deadline for national and regional plant protection organizations (NPPOs, RPPOs) to review and submit their comments on the "Draft report on the assessment and management of climate change impacts on plant pests," developed by the Commission on Phytosanitary Measures (CPM) Focus Group on Climate Change.

The report aims to provide technical and operational advice to NPPOs, RPPOs and other organizations on how to strengthen national and regional phytosanitary systems to better assess and manage the phytosanitary risks of climate change on plant pests.
