IPPC Secretariat and FAO elearning Academy launch new course on “Working with a national plant protection organization”

The IPPC Secretariat and the FAO elearning Academy are pleased to announce the publication of a new certified eLearning course “Working with a national plant protection organization” (NPPO), developed in collaboration with the European Union and the Committee Linking Entrepreneurship-Agriculture-Development (COLEAD). The course is part of a series of plant protection courses designed to enhance phytosanitary capacity within NPPOs and is freely accessible through the FAO elearning Academy here.

The IPPC Secretariat and the FAO elearning Academy are grateful to experts the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, the International Center for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies (CIHEAM Bari), Italy, National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (SENASA), Argentina, Ministry of Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Zimbabwe, Rwanda Inspectorate, Competition and Consumer Protection Authority (RICA), Kenyatta University, Kenya and COLEAD, Belgium, for the hard work, professionalism and dedication.
