The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is calling for discussion papers in preparation for the meeting of the Expert Working Group (EWG) on the Revision of the Draft Reorganized Pest Risk Analysis ISPM (topic 2023-037), which will take place from 5 to 9 October 2026 in Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. The EWG will work according to Specification 76 on the Revision of the draft reorganized pest risk analysis ISPM (https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/94310/).

IPPC contracting parties and other interested parties are invited to submit discussion papers to the IPPC Secretariat by sending an email to [email protected] by 31 July 2026, with a copy to Mr Emmanuel Plarhar KRAH ([email protected]g) and Mr Stefano PRETI ([email protected]).

The subject line of the email should include the name of the submitting contracting party or regional plant protection organization (RPPO) and the words "Call for discussion papers — Revision of the draft reorganized pest risk analysis ISPM (2023-037)".
