The International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) Secretariat is calling for discussion papers in preparation for the meeting of the Expert Working Group (EWG) on the Safe provision of humanitarian aid in the phytosanitary context (2021-020), which will take place from 23 to 27 March 2025 in Nadi, Fiji.

The EWG will work according to Specification 77 on the Safe provision of humanitarian aid in the phytosanitary context (https://www.ippc.int/en/publications/94648/).

IPPC contracting parties and other interested parties are invited to submit discussion papers to the IPPC Secretariat by sending an email to  [email protected] by 27 February 2026, with a copy to Ms Adriana Moreira ([email protected]) and Ms Marina Martino ([email protected]).

The subject line of the email message should include the name of the submitting country or the regional plant protection organization (RPPO) and the words “Call for discussion papers - Safe provision of humanitarian aid in the phytosanitary context”.
