Final Report: Animal And Plant Health Inspection Service United States And Mexico Lower Rio Grande Valley Mexican Fruit Fly Eradication Program Review

A review of the current status and performance of Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) and International Services (IS) Mexican fruit fly (Anastrepha ludens Loew) eradication activities in Texas and seven municipalities in northern Tamaulipas, Mexico is provided in this report. It is based on site visits and discussions with operational staff and program managers in Texas and Mexico. The review contains recommendations for each component of the operational program, strategic planning, and support activities.
